2018 E. Pira & Figli Chiara Boschis Barbera d’Alba Superiore Magnum Piedmont, Italy

Bright intense ruby, in the nose a lot of fresh, concentrated berry fruit, very elegant, on the palate accentuated acidity at the beginning, which then gives way to a fine tannin, long and juicy in the aftertaste.

E. Pira & Figli (Chiari Boschis) is a small wine estate in Barolo. It makes a range of single-vineyard Nebbiolo wines from several of the Barolo crus, as well as a Barbera d’Alba and a Dolcetto d’Alba.

Chiara Boschis became the owner of E. Pira and Figli estate in 1990.
