The 1997 Hermitage Le Pavillon displays a saturated purple color and a fabulously intense nose of blackberry liqueur intermixed with floral scents smoke licorice tar and Chinese black tea aromas. There is wonderful concentration massive body and a monster finish in this decadently rich Hermitage. It possesses low acidity but lots of concentration extract and length.
